Job Overview:

As a Shopify Front-End Developer at Peakmade, you will play a crucial role in shaping our online presence. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with design and development teams, translating concepts into seamless Shopify themes, and ensuring an exceptional user experience. Enjoy the flexibility of remote work while having the option to join our co-working space in Brussels for enhanced collaboration.



Key Responsibilities:

- Translate UI/UX wireframes into captivating Shopify themes

- Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes and templates

- Implement responsive design for optimal performance across devices

- Optimize website speed and troubleshoot front-end issues

- Stay updated on industry trends and contribute innovative ideas

- Collaborate effectively with remote and co-working team members



Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Shopify Front-End Developer

- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid

- Expertise in Shopify theme development and customization

- Strong understanding of responsive design principles

- Familiarity with SEO best practices for e-commerce

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

- Ability to work collaboratively in both remote and co-working environments



Nice-to-Have:

- Experience with other e-commerce platforms

- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)

- Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques
